Journey

The journey of these women represents the journey through life. The image is inspired by tales of the Native Northwest; as told by Ann Cameron. Out on a great expanse of waters these women knew their position moving from island to island. It was their place in the song they were singing or by the length of their chain of beads dipped into the water that provided this awareness, which is representative of the intuition that can guide one through life if one attunes to it's signals. The group of women are a literal group of dear friends whose presence in my life helped me to learn to work in community as a way of being in the world and aligning to the path of my life's journey.
