Awakening

The bear appeared to me in dreams at a time when I was learning to trust my intuition. The hibernating and waking cycle of the bear mirrors the feminine moon cycle, so when the bear appeared to me as waking within the cave of my own mind, it was a welcome surprise. The snake, an ancient symbol of the goddess, protects this process, and the water gently covers my mouth to maintain a silence that the intelligence of intuition guides me to speak my truth.
